Hi Meti!
We met this past Sunday at the Connect Lunch. I mainly organize stuff
through MoTHs and share it with Hill folks at church. I send out a weekly
email to parents who have attended Annabella’s playgroups since the first
group, Eaters and Sleeper. I can add you to that email! Also, I’d live to
introduce you to some of the Moms in the church with kids near your age
range. Once your little one hits 6 months, you’ll see a lot of these
parents back in the nursery during drop off and pick-up.
xx,
Joy
I would love to take my mom..
is available.?
let me know
I’d be interested in helping out with the Leadership Meeting Meal Preparation. 10 -14 people is right in my cooking comfort zone.
I love this parable. I’ve been struck by how three of the four seeds hear the Word of God and even begin to receive it but only one of four actually bears fruit. It feels like a reminder to not become complacent – that growth requires care and diligence. That it isn’t a given. And that it’s also worth the work.
Awesome thought. That scripture (2Corinthians 9:8) always gives me a unique kind of confidence – that through God’s grace, ALL THINGS are Possible. Thanks for sharing!
It’s pretty close to the national mall where there is some free street parking on Sundays & there is pay to park in the Holiday Inn. Kyle & I plan to get there a little early & grab a spot on the street.
So many exciting things happening at CCC! Looking forward to seeing the vision come to pass as we risk more together, to reach more!
I just got a chance to read this devotional and I love the sentence: “God is a God of Light: He can’t tolerate darkness, and darkness cannot survive in His presence.” This world is hurting so much. In my own life, I see how many people are struggling with the burdens of everyday life and burdened with disappointments. I am one of these people. But not many know the God that loves them so much. If they only knew His amazing love… These devotionals were amazing and now that this fast is over, I am a little sad because I was encouraged by these. Time to look for another Bible study!
Such joy to beable to do this with family, thanks so much for teaching us how important it is to daily set time for God through our day so we stay strong to help us take authority over the enemy schemes! Can’t wait to look at my letter in 6 months!
Peace is my last gift to you, my own peace I now leave with you; peace which the world cannot give, I give to you. I give you a new commandment: Love one another as I have loved you.
Thank you for loving us, Jesus… not in spite of our flaws but beause of them.
We are going to rock that front left side! The Bradley family will be down there representing.
Reading make me think of the heart of his mother Mary, who probably suffered the most for what her son had to go through just so our sins n healing would be paid for.I am so greatful that He left the Holy Spirit to be our comforter n our discerners so we can strive to become more like Jesus everyday! His Love is so powerful!
I’ve been reading up on not a fan by Kyle Idleman, which challenges me to question how committed we areto Jesus and if we really follow him. While passion is not really spoken of in the book, I started thinking once we reconize that Jesus wants us to follow him, we’ll find that we’re very passionate for him and just as much as he is for us.
Thanks!
